CD45RO is a splice isoform of CD45, belonging to the receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase family. CD45RO is mainly expressed in memory T cells and effector T cells that have experienced antigen stimulation, and is a classic biomarker in immunology used to distinguish between naive T cells and memory T cells.
