Verification Images

  • Experimental Validation Results for CD63 Antibody (YA530)
Western blot analysis of extracts from RAW264.7(lane 2(20μg) and RAW264.7(lane 3(40μg) using CD63 Antibody (HY-P80604) Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80438, 1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse/Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background

  • Function

CD63, as a cell surface receptor for TIMP1, participates in the activation of the cell signaling cascade. CD63 participates in the activation of ITGB1 and integrin signals, thereby activating AKT, FAK/PTK2 and MAP kinases. CD63 promotes cell survival, actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell adhesion, spreading and migration by activating AKT and FAK/PTK2. CD63 participates in the VEGFA signaling pathway by regulating the endocytosis of KDR/VEGFR2. CD63 participates in intracellular vesicle transport and is essential for the normal transport of the PMEL luminal domain, which is crucial for the development and maturation of melanocytes. CD63 participates in the adhesion of leukocytes to endothelial cells by regulating the transport of SELP. CD63 may play a role in mast cell degranulation in response to Ms4a2/FceRI stimulation, but does not play a role in degranulation in response to other stimuli[1].
