Function
FcγRI (CD64) is a high-affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin γ. FcγRI (CD64) is constitutively expressed by monocytes, macrophages, and many myeloid progenitor cells. FcγRI (CD64) plays a role in both innate and adaptive immune responses. FcγRI (CD64) mediates the effector function of IgG on monocytes, thereby triggering antibody-dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC) to kill virus-infected cells.
