Western blot analysis of extracts from A549(lane 2(20μg) and A549(lane 3(40ug)using IL-13 Receptor alpha 1 Antibody (HY-P80879) Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80438, 1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse/Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Background
-
Function
IL-13 Receptor alpha 1 binds with low affinity to interleukin-13 (IL13). Together with IL4RA can form a functional receptor for IL13. Also serves as an alternate accessory protein to the common cytokine receptor gamma chain for interleukin-4 (IL4) signaling, but cannot replace the function of IL2RG in allowing enhanced interleukin-2 (IL2) binding activity

Subcellular Localization
Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein
-
Expression
Tissue_specificity:It is widely distributed. The highest concentrations are found in the heart, liver, skeletal muscle, and ovaries; the lowest concentrations are found in the brain, lungs, and kidneys. It is also present in B cells, T cells, and endothelial cells. -
