Biological Activity
Asante potassium green-2 TMA (APG-2 (TMA)) loaded shielded mesoporous silica nanoparticles (0.5 mg/mL; 24 h) enables high-selectivity, high-sensitivity, reversible and fast kinetic-responsive fluorescent detection of potassium ions[1].
Asante potassium green-2 TMA (APG-2 (TMA)) loaded shielded mesoporous silica nanoparticles (20 μg/mL; 20 min) specifically detects extracellular K+ efflux in primary cultured rat hippocampal neurons during pharmacologically induced epileptiform activity, with stronger fluorescent signals observed in axonal compartments relative to soma regions[1].
