Biological Activity
Bz-(Me)Tz-NHS (100 mM; 5-fold excess) efficiently modifies amine-terminated DNA oligonucleotides via amide coupling in aqueous-bicarbonate buffer with minimal side reactions[1].
Bz-(Me)Tz-NHS generates quenched fluorogenic DNA probes that exhibit rapid template-dependent ligation and fluorescence activation upon reaction with cyclopropene-modified oligonucleotides[1].
