Rivastigmine tartrate can pass the blood brain barrier (BBB). Rivastigmine tartrate is a parasympathomimetic or cholinergic agent used for the research of mild to moderate dementia of the Alzheimer's type and dementia due to Parkinson's disease[1][2].
