Gold (I) complexes derived from CyJohnPhos exhibit anti-colon cancer activity, inhibit the enzymatic activities of COX-1/COX-2 and TrxR, upregulate ROS levels, induce cell apoptosis, and some derivatives can induce cell cycle arrest. CyJohnPhos can serve as an intermediate for research related to organic synthesis[1][2].
