DavePhos
Based on 1 Customer Validation
DavePhos is a phosphine ligand and electron donor. DavePhos can form cationic rhodium complexes to promote the selective hydrocarboxylation of styrene derivatives with CO2 and H2. As a sacrificial electron donor, DavePhos assists in generating active Rh-H species to initiate the catalytic cycle. DavePhos can be used in Buchwald−Hartwig cross-coupling reactions within palladium-based catalytic systems. DavePhos is applicable to platinum-catalyzed reductive amination of amine-acid.

Biological Activity
DavePhos can act as both a ligand and an electron donor to enable the hydrocarboxylation of methyl 4-vinylbenzoate under ambient temperature and atmospheric CO2/H2 pressure, producing the branched carboxylic acid product 2a[2].
DavePhos combined with Karstedt catalyst enables efficient homogeneous platinum‑catalyzed reductive amination between leelamine and carboxylic acids to prepare lysosome‑targeted analogs; this catalytic system also supports nanoscale synthesis of a leelamine analog library containing 1280 members[3].
