Cyjohnphos
Based on 1 Customer Validation
CyJohnPhos (2-(Dicyclohexylphosphino)biphenyl) is an organophosphine ligand. Gold (I) complexes derived from CyJohnPhos exhibit anti-colon cancer activity, inhibit the enzymatic activities of COX-1/COX-2 and TrxR, upregulate ROS levels, induce cell apoptosis, and some derivatives can induce cell cycle arrest. CyJohnPhos can serve as an intermediate for research related to organic synthesis.

Biological Activity
CyJohnPhos-derived gold (I) complexes exhibit antiproliferative activity against Caco-2/TC7 colon cancer cells. The representative complex [Au (L4)(CyJohnPhos)]SbF6 (4a) has a selectivity index of 7.47. It inhibits COX-1, COX-2 and TrxR, increases intracellular ROS levels in a concentration-dependent manner, induces tumor cell apoptosis, and triggers G1-phase cell cycle arrest[1].
CyJohnPhos (2-(dicyclohexylphosphino) bipheny) (10 mol %) catalyzes the direct arylation of N-substituted indoles, N-substituted pyrroles, and furan substrates with aryl chlorides[2].
