Biological Activity: Tetrasodium pyrophosphate is a water-soluble inorganic salt commonly used as a buffering agent, emulsifier, and sequestrant. Tetrasodium pyrophosphate blocks IPP translocation, enhances astaxanthin, phenol, flavonoid, and H2O2 levels, activates PAL and DPPH scavenging activity.
