Biological Activity: Eco-DEHCH is a phthalate-free alternative plasticizer that safely and effectively softens plastics such as flexible PVC. Eco-DEHCH shows low binding affinity for various endocrine receptors, including estrogen, androgen, glucocorticoid, thyroid receptor α and thyroid receptor β. Eco-DEHCH causes dose-dependent accumulation of α2u-globulin in the kidneys of male Han Wistar rats, but has overall general safety[1][2].
