Biological Activity: Trichlormethiazide sodium is an orally active thiazide diuretic, with antihypertensive effect. Trichlormethiazide sodium increases urine volume (UV), Na and K excretion and tends to improve the depressed creatinine clearance (CCRE) in acute renal failure rats model[1][2].
