Antitubercular agent-54 (Compound P39) exhibits potent inhibitory activity against Mtb in various metabolic states, with an EC₅₀ of 0.68 μM against intramacrophage Mtb and an MIC of 0.31 μM against Mtb H37Rv in cholesterol-containing medium^[1].
Antitubercular agent-54 (>40 μM) shows no significant cytotoxicity against HEK293T and HepG2 cells, with good safety profiles^[1].
