MK-1496 is an orally active and highly selective PLK1 inhibitor. MK-1496 exerts antitumor effects by inducing G2/M phase arrest and apoptosis in tumor cells. MK-1496 can be used in research related to parotid gland carcinoma and small cell lung cancer.
