Description

DA 1686 is an orally active naphthalene derivative that induces bradycardia and mild hypotension. DA 1686 can be used in the study of arrhythmias[1].

In Vitro

DA 1686 reduces aconitine-induced tachycardia and responsiveness to increased electrical stimulation in isolated guinea-pig auricles[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

DA 1686 exhibits local anaesthetic activity in in vivo mouse and guinea-pig models[1].
DA 1686 (20 mg/kg; i.v.; slow infusion) protects anaesthetized dogs from Adrenaline (HY-B0447)-induced death during benzol inhalation[1].
DA 1686 protects rats from arrhythmia induced by intravenous administration of 34 μg/kg Aconitine[1].
DA 1686 delays the onset of Ouabain (HY-B1457)-induced arrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, and cardiac arrest in guinea-pigs[1].
DA 1686 reduces tachycardia induced by 10 days of daily 0.2 mg Thyroxine (HY-18341) administration in rabbits[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
