Paraffin Section
Paraffin sectioning technique is a method of fixing, dehydrating, paraffin-impregnating and cutting tissues into thin sections for pathological and histological research. First, the tissue is dehydrated and macerated, then embedded in paraffin to form a solid tissue block. Next, use a microtome to cut the paraffin-embedded tissue into thin sections for observation under a microscope.
