In Vitro

Defensin HNP 4 (1.56-100 μM; 2 h) shows antimicrobial activity against[1].
Defensin HNP 4 (1.56-100 μM; 96 h) has low cytotoxicity in human colonic epithelial adenocarcinoma cell line CaCo2 subclone TC7 and colorectal carcinoma cell line HT29 MTX cells subclone E12[1].
Defensin HNP 4 (1.56-100 μM; 1 h) exhibits hemolytic activity[1].
