(E)-MDL72274 hydrochloride
(E)-MDL72274 hydrochloride is a semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase (SSAO) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 0.74-1.42 μM. (E)-MDL72274 hydrochloride inhibits allylamine-induced excessive contraction of isolated coronary artery bypass graft vessels. (E)-MDL72274 hydrochloride can be used in studies related to vasospasm.

Biological Activity
(E)-MDL72274 (1 nM-0.1 mM; 30 min) hydrochloride potently inhibits SSAO activity in homogenized human internal mammary artery, radial artery, and saphenous vein with IC50 values ranging from 0.74-1.42 μM, and completely blocks SSAO activity at 0.1 mM[1].
(E)-MDL72274 (0.1 mM; 20 min) hydrochloride completely blocks Allylamine-induced hypercontraction and associated vascular dysfunction in isolated human internal mammary artery rings by inhibiting SSAO activity[1].
