GABA receptor antagonist 2 has significant insecticidal activities against P. xylostella and its resistant strain, and Spodoptera frugiperda, and Chilo suppressalis. GABA receptor antagonist 2 binds the GABA receptor at the site of Drosophila Rdl^G335. GABA receptor antagonist 2 can be used to manage resistant pest populations.
