HPPD-IN-11
HPPD-IN-11 is an inhibitor of Arabidopsis thaliana 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (AtHPPD), with a Ki value of 0.016 μM, and exhibits herbicidal activity. HPPD-IN-11 enhances π-π interactions with Phe360 and Phe403 in the active site of AtHPPD, thereby strengthening its enzyme-binding ability. HPPD-IN-11 can be used in studies related to weed damage.

HPPD-IN-11 (11b) (15.625-250 g ai/ha) exhibits excellent postemergence and preemergence herbicidal activity against Solanum nigrum, Amaranthus retroflexus, Setaria viridis, and Echinochloa crus-galli at 15.625-250 g ai/ha, while showing high safety to wheat at 250 g ai/ha[1].
HPPD-IN-11 potently inhibits purified Arabidopsis thaliana HPPD with a Ki of 0.016 μM[1].
HPPD-IN-11 possesses molecular electronic properties including a HOMO-LUMO energy gap of 4.167 eV and a dipole moment of 6.601 D, which are associated with its biological interactions[1].
