Description

In Vivo

Nuarimol (31.5-125 mg/kg; p.o.; once daily; for 1-5 consecutive days) induces dose-dependent, reversible hepatic effects in male Wistar rats, including increased p-nitroanisole O-demethylase activity, transient hepatocellular proliferation, and reversible hepatomegaly. Histological changes indicate that this is a regenerative response rather than a direct mitogenic response^[1].
