IRBM-Z-1 is a non-competitive inhibitor of Zika virus (ZIKV) NS2B-NS3 protease, with an IC50 of 1.8 μM. IRBM-Z-1 also exhibits inhibitory activity against the NS2B-NS3 proteases of T156I-mutated dengue virus 2 (DENV2) and West Nile virus (WNV), with IC50 values of 3.9 μM and 4.7 μM, respectively. IRBM-Z-1 inhibits ZIKV replication, attenuates virus-induced cytopathic effects. IRBM-Z-1 is applicable to research related to ZIKV infection.

Description

IRBM-Z-1 is a non-competitive inhibitor of Zika virus (ZIKV) NS2B-NS3 protease, with an IC50 of 1.8 μM. IRBM-Z-1 also exhibits inhibitory activity against the NS2B-NS3 proteases of T156I-mutated dengue virus 2 (DENV2) and West Nile virus (WNV), with IC50 values of 3.9 μM and 4.7 μM, respectively. IRBM-Z-1 inhibits ZIKV replication, attenuates virus-induced cytopathic effects. IRBM-Z-1 is applicable to research related to ZIKV infection[1].

In Vitro

IRBM-Z-1 (72 h) inhibits the replication of ZIKV replicons in stable Vero cells, with an EC50 of 6.0 μM, and shows no cytotoxicity at concentrations up to 32 μM[1].
IRBM-Z-1 (6 days) inhibits the ZIKV-induced cytopathic effect in Vero cells, with an EC50 of 6.25 μM[1].
