4T1pep1
4T1pep1 is a tumor-homing cyclic peptide obtained through phage display screening. 4T1pep1 binds to mouse 4T1 triple-negative breast cancer cells and human MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer cells. 4T1pep1 is useful for triple-negative breast cancer-related research.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
4T1pep1 exhibits high binding affinity and selectivity for 4T1 cells, and it also binds to human MDA-MB-231 cells, while showing no affinity for control 3T3 cells; its potential target is Mucin-16[1].
4T1pep1 is a novel peptide ligand identified against a mouse triple-negative breast cancer cell line through in vitro phage display biopanning, and it holds potential for nano-targeted delivery in TNBC therapy[2].

Breast Cancer Modeling
Breast cancer is a heterogeneous cancer, and it has been distinguished into four subtypes: luminal A, luminal B, HER2-positive and basal-like. Molecular mutations, epigenetic alterations, hormone exposure and immune microenvironment are related to the progression of breast cancer.
