In Vitro

Antitubercular agent-58 (Compound 20j) potently inhibits the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv whole cells with an IC₅₀ of 51 nM^[1].
Antitubercular agent-58 shows high metabolic clearance in rat hepatocytes and moderate metabolic clearance in human liver microsomes^[1].
