Biological Activity
L-β-ethynylserine (1-4 mM, 1h) is efficiently incorporated into the nascent prototrophic E. coli cultured in complete medium[1].
L-β-ethynylserine (0.004-4 mM, 0-60 min) allows for fast visualization of mammalian newly synthesized proteins (NSPs) in Hela cells via its incorporation in complete medium[1].
L-β-ethynylserine (1-4 mM, 24 h) exhibits low cytotoxicity in Hela cells and does not inhibit the growth of E. coli[1].
