N-b-Hydroxyethyl oleyl imidazoline
N-b-Hydroxyethyl oleyl imidazoline is a selective enzyme inhibitor targeting DIO, with an IC50 of 3.9 μM against human DIO3. N-b-Hydroxyethyl oleyl imidazoline binds to the catalytic domain of deiodinase and blocks the deiodination catalytic reaction of thyroid hormone molecules. N-b-Hydroxyethyl oleyl imidazoline can be used in studies related to the functional regulation of thyroid deiodinases.

Activité biologique
N-b-Hydroxyethyl oleyl imidazoline (95-38-5) (0.032-200 μM; 3 h) inhibits the activity of human DIO3 in HEK293 cell lysates, with an IC50 of 3.9 μM and an inhibition rate of 101% at the concentration of 200 μM; moreover, it achieves 50% or higher enzyme activity inhibition against all three types of deiodinases in single-point screening assays[1].
