PEG6000-bis-amine
PEG6000-bis-amine is a diamine-terminated polyethylene glycol (MW≈6000) and conjugate linker. PEG6000-bis-amine endows the surface of carbon capsules with stealth properties, biocompatibility, and free amino groups for antibody conjugation. PEG6000-bis-amine acts as a reducing agent and passivating agent to promote the formation and assembly of silver nanoparticles on silica nanospheres, and increases the number of silver nanoparticles on the silica surface.

PEG6000-bis-amine-modified carbon capsules coloaded with Y2O3:Eu3+(5%) and GdF3:Tb3+(10%) (50-200 μg/mL; 18 h) exhibit minimal cytotoxicity, supporting >80% proliferation in HeLa, A498, L929, HepG2, and MM418 cell lines at concentrations up to 200 μg/mL after 18 h incubation[1].
PEG6000-bis-amine-modified carbon capsules coloaded with Y2O3:Eu3+(5%) and GdF3:Tb3+(10%) (100 μg/mL; 18 h) are internalized by HeLa, A498, L929, HepG2, and MM418 cells primarily via caveolae/raft-mediated endocytosis, with significant uptake observed at 100 μg/mL after 18 h incubation[1].
PEG6000-bis-amine (6 mM; 1 h) effectively mediates the synthesis and assembly of uniform, aggregated silver nanoparticles on MPTS-treated silica nanospheres at 25 °C, producing an average of 19.1 Ag NPs (24.9 nm average size) per silica nanosphere[2].
