CNKSR3 protein regulates transepithelial sodium transport by controlling aldosterone-induced ENaC-mediated sodium transport. As a scaffolding protein, CNKSR3 coordinates ENaC regulatory complex (ERC) assembly and directly interacts with ENaC subunits SCNN1A and SCNN1B.
