FOLR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FOLR1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
Background
The FOLR1 protein functions as a key mediator in folate uptake, binding to folate and reduced folic acid derivatives to facilitate the delivery of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate and folate analogs into the cell interior. This process is characterized by a high affinity for folate and folic acid analogs at neutral pH, as evidenced by various studies. Notably, exposure to a slightly acidic pH following receptor endocytosis induces a conformational change that significantly reduces its affinity for folates, facilitating their release. Beyond its role in folate transport, FOLR1 is essential for normal embryonic development and proper cell proliferation, underlining its significance in fundamental cellular processes.
Verified Bioactivity
1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized FOLR1 at 1 μg/mL can bind Anti-FOLR1 antibody, Mouse IgG1, the EC50 of human FOLR1 protein is ≤9.719 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is ≥1.029×105 units/mg.
2. Loaded Luveltamab (HY-P990687) on AHC2 biosensor, can bind FOLR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) with an affinity constant of 3.314E-09 M as determined in BLI assay.
3.Loaded Anti-Human FOLR1 Antibody on Pro-A Biosensor, can bind Recombinant Human FOLR1 with an affinity constant of 0.103 µM as determined in BLI assay.
4.Loaded Torvutatug (HY-P991164) on Pro-A biosensor, can bind FOLR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) with an affinity constant of 2.582E-08 M as determined in BLI assay.
5.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human FOLR1-His at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well)can bind Anti-Human FOLR1 mAb. The ED50 for this effect is ≤20 ng/mL.
