Background

G-protein coupled receptor family C group 5 member D (GPRC5D), an orphan receptor, is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family. GPRC5D is an important target for CAR T cell therapy of multiple myeloma. In multiple myeloma, GPRC5D is expressed on malignant plasma cells. GPRC5D is highly expressed in various cancers, such as NSCLC, testicular germ cell tumor and esophageal cancer[1][2].
