Serpin E1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc)

Cat. No.: HY-P73336
Handling Instructions

Serpin E1 is a serine protease inhibitor that regulates TMPRSS7 and inhibits tissue-type plasminogen activator (PLAT) and urokinase-type plasminogen activator (PLAU). It can significantly downregulate fibrinolysis and control thrombus degradation. Serpin E1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant rat-derived Serpin E1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag. The total length of Serpin E1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is 402 a.a., with molecular weight of ~70 kDa.

Background

The SLAMF6 protein is a self-ligand receptor belonging to the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family. It is involved in modulating the activation and differentiation of various immune cells, playing a role in both innate and adaptive immune responses. The activity of SLAMF6 is regulated by the presence or absence of cytoplasmic adapter proteins, namely SH2D1A/SAP and/or SH2D1B/EAT-2.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

  • Dilution Calculator

  • Specific Activity Calculator

The reconstitution calculator equation

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration
= ÷

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×
C1   V1   C2   V2

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
Unit/mg = 106 ÷ ng/mL
