Rehmaglupentasaccharide A is a pentasaccharide found in air-dried roots of Rehmannia glutinosa. Rehmaglupentasaccharide A promotes proliferation of Lactobacillus reuteri^[1].

In Vitro

Rehmaglupentasaccharide A exhibits no cytotoxic activity against HCT-116, U251, HGC27, HepG2 and MCF7 cells, with an IC₅₀ > 10 μM^[1].
Rehmaglupentasaccharide A exhibits no agonistic activity on dopamine receptors in HEK293 cells, with an IC₅₀ > 10 μM^[1].
Rehmaglupentasaccharide A (0.2% w/w; 48 h) moderately promotes the proliferation of Lactobacillus reuteri, with a ΔOD₆₀₀ value of 0.811^[1].
