Cat. No.: HY-15594A
CAS No.: 929895-45-4
Purity:  98.99%
Synonyms: Phen-DC3 Triflate
Phen-DC3 Trifluoromethanesulfonate is a bisquinolinium G-quadruplex (G4) ligand. Phen-DC3 Trifluoromethanesulfonate selectively binds to and stabilizes the hybrid quadruplex-duplex hybrid (QDH) derived from the PIM1 promoter. Phen-DC3 Trifluoromethanesulfonate also binds to the c-myc promoter Pu24T G4 via extensive π-stacking, and induces polymerase stalling at α-synuclein DNA and RNA G4 sequences. Phen-DC3 Trifluoromethanesulfonate downregulates LPS (HY-D1056)-induced TNFRSF21, RIPK3 and p-MLKL in VECs, and ameliorates CLP-induced pulmonary vascular leakage in septic rats. Phen-DC3 Trifluoromethanesulfonate can be used in studies related to neurodegenerative diseases and sepsis-associated vascular injury .

Antioxidant agent-5 (compound D-6) is a potent antioxidant agent. Antioxidant agent-5 can inhibit oxLDL (oxidized low-density lipoprotein)-induced apoptosis and the expression of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 in VECs. Antioxidant agent-5 suppresses oxLDL-induced increase of ROS level and nuclear translocation of NF-κB. Antioxidant agent-5 protects against oxLDL-induced endothelial injury by activating Nrf2/HO-1 anti-oxidation pathway .

Cancer

VEC6 (NSC 11435) is an inhibitor of VEZF1–DNA interaction and has the activity to recapitulate RhoB loss in ischemic retinopathy. VEC6 reduces pathological angiogenesis and promotes lymphangiogenesis. VEC6 plays a unique role in angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis by regulating the expression of different sets of genes in endothelial cells. VEC6 has an inhibitory effect on VEZF1-mediated transcriptional activity, thereby affecting the proliferation and sprouting of endothelial cells .

Vif-ElonginC interaction inhibitor 1 (compound VEC-5) is a potent Vif inhibitor. Vif-ElonginC interaction inhibitor 1 can restrict HIV-1 in Vif-nonpermissive cells. Vif-ElonginC interaction inhibitor 1 can protect A3G, APOBEC3C (A3C), and APOBEC3F (A3F) from Vif-mediated degradation and drastically inhibit Vif function through blocking the interaction between Vif and ElonginC. Vif-ElonginC interaction inhibitor 1 enhances A3G incorporation into HIV-1 virions to reduce viral infectivity .

Nrf2 activator-9 (compound D-36) is an Nrf2 activator that inhibits oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) and high glucose (HG)-induced apoptosis in HUVEC cells. Nrf2 activator-9 inhibits oxLDL and HG-induced vascular endothelial cell (VEC) injury and can effectively prevent and treat atherosclerosis .
