Suc-AAPY-pNA
Suc-AAPY-pNA is an oligptide compound and protease substrate. Suc-AAPY-pNA undergoes hydrolysis by proteases at the peptide bond between tyrosine and p-nitroaniline, releasing p-nitroaniline with an absorption peak at OD410. Suc-AAPY-pNA functions as a substrate in preclinical assays for measuring activity of acidic, neutral, and alkaline proteases.

Biological Activity
Suc-AAPY-pNA (4 mM stock solution; 10 min at 40 °C) functions as a valid substrate for measuring the activity of multiple protease types and variants, producing measurable OD410 absorbance signals that correlate with protease activity, with standard curve R2=0.9909, and yielding quantified activities ranging from 0.2 U/mL to 97.5 U/mL across tested proteases[1].
