Biological Activity
tert-Butyl carbazate reacts with various boronic acid substrates at room temperature in organic solvent under copper(I) chloride catalysis to form diprotected monosubstituted hydrazine derivatives in in vitro synthetic experiments[1].
tert-Butyl carbazate (compound 1) derived compound exhibit antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus luteus, Gram-negative bacteria including Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Agrobacterium sp. and Erwinia sp., as well as fungi including Aspergillus flavus and Candida albicans, as demonstrated by the in vitro disk diffusion assay[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
