VEGFR-2-IN-83 (Compound 10) (1-100 μM; 24 h) potently inhibits the proliferation of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, with IC₅₀ values of 4.9 and 34.8 μM, respectively; it exhibits no significant cytotoxicity against MCF-10A normal mammary epithelial cells^[1].
VEGFR-2-IN-83 (24 h) induces early and late apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells, with extremely weak necrotic effects^[1].
