Description

Yinyanghuo C is a prenylated flavonoid isolated from the leaves of Epimedium sagittatum. Yinyanghuo C increases the mRNA expression levels of endothelial cell markers and enhances cancer-associated angiogenesis in the 4T1 breast tumor-bearing model[1].

In Vitro

Yinyanghuo C, with a structure featuring a gem-dimethylchromene moiety fused to C-3′ and C-4′ of its B ring, as determined via spectral and NOE analysis[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Yinyanghuo C increases the mRNA expression levels of endothelial cell markers (such as endothelial cell-specific molecule ESM-1, platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule EndoCAM (CD31), and vascular von Willebrand factor) and enhances cancer-associated angiogenesis in the 4T1 breast tumor xenograft model[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
