α1-2,4,6 Fucosidase O, Omnitrophica bacterium
Based on 1 Customer Validation
α1-2,4,6 Fucosidase O (EC 3.2.1.51) is a broad specificity exoglycosidase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminal α1-2, α1-4 and α1-6 linked fucose residues from oligosaccharides, with α1-6 fucose residues more efficiently.

Product Information This product is recombinantly expressed in E. coli, with a C-terminal His-tag, a molecular weight of 49 kDa, and a buffer composition of 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol. It can catalyze the hydrolysis of α1-2, α1-4, and α1-6-linked fucose residues at the end of oligosaccharides. α1-2,4,6-fucosidase O has the best hydrolysis effect on α1-6-linked fucose residues. Instructions 1. Add substrate, 50 mM sodium acetate, pH 5.5, 5 mM CaCl2 to the reaction system, mix well, and add appropriate amount of enzyme. 2. Incubate the sample at 37°C for 2-4h or overnight. Notes When the system is scaled up, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, and can be mixed by low-speed shaking.
