12-Deoxyphorbol-13-isobutyrate-20-acetate (1 μM) reduces contractile force in intact human trabeculae carneae via calcium-independent mechanisms, and its negative inotropy and lowered myofilament calcium sensitivity are partially reversed by caffeine[1].
12-Deoxyphorbol-13-isobutyrate-20-acetate (1 μM) decreases myofilament calcium sensitivity in skinned human trabeculae carneae (shifting [Ca²⁺]50% to 2.09 μM and reducing maximal force), while lowering contractile force and altering Hill coefficients in intact control and myopathic human trabeculae carneae with consistent [Ca²⁺]50% elevations[1].
12-Deoxyphorbol-13-isobutyrate-20-acetate (10-100 μM; 3 days) decreases Aspergillus carbonarius growth by 25%[3].
