Animal Model:Streptozotocin (HY-13753)-induced type I diabetic rats[3]

Administration:intubated, daily, 4 weeks

Result:Induced a reduction in blood glucose from 500 mg/dl to 330 mg/dl.
Restored the diabetic lipid profile to an almost normal one.
Reversed the changes in HDL induced by Streptozotocin.
Reduced the increased hyperuricemia.
