In Vitro
3-Dehydro-teasterone (2 μg/500 μL enzyme solution; 37°C; 30 min) is converted to typhasterol by 3-dehydroteasterone reductase in the crude cytosolic fraction prepared from Marchantia polymorpha cultured cells, with a substrate conversion rate of 2.1%; no corresponding reductase activity is detected in the microsomal fraction[2].
3-Dehydro-teasterone (10-1000 ng/plant; 1 μL ethanol solution; injected at the leaf tip; single dose; 3 days) effectively increases lamina joint bending in d2-2 mutant rice seedlings and similarly increases lamina joint bending in wild-type rice seedlings[1].
