Para-aminoblebbistatin is the inhibitor for myosin II. Para-aminoblebbistatin inhibits the ATPase activity of myosin II, thereby blocking the formation and contraction of the actin-myosin network. Para-aminoblebbistatin is a non-fluorescent and photostable Blebbistatin (HY-13813) derivative.

Biological Activity
Myosin II[1]
Para-aminoblebbistatin inhibits multiple myosin II isoforms, including skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, non-muscle myosin II. Para-aminoblebbistatin inhibits rabbit skeletal muscle myosin S1 (SkS1) and dictyostelium discoideum myosin II motor domain (DdMD) with IC50 of 1.3 μM and 6.6 μM[1].
Para-aminoblebbistatin (0-50 μM, 72 h) inhibits the proliferation of HeLa cell with an IC50 of 17.8 μM, promotes the cell migration and inhibits the blebbing process of M2 cell[1].
Para-aminoblebbistatin (2-20 μM, 10 stimulations every hour for 4 hours) inhibits the rapid escape response (C-start reflex) of zebrafish embryo, reduces the amplitude of zebrafish embryo myocardial contraction[2].
