Description

AMB8LK is a human monoclonal antibody targeting H-ferritin, with specificity for tumor-associated heterologous ferritin. AMB8LK specifically recognizes and binds to H-ferritin overexpressed on the surface of tumor cells. AMB8LK can be used in research related to cancer and immune diseases[1].

Species Reactivity

Human

In Vitro

AMB8LK is a human monoclonal antibody targeting H-ferritin, the functional core subunit of ferritin. H-ferritin forms a 24-mer nanocage together with light chains, and is the only subunit with ferroxidase activity, responsible for converting toxic Fe2+ into non-toxic Fe3+ for storage. Meanwhile, it is deeply associated with NF‑κB, inflammation and ferroptosis[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
