AMP-PNP tetralithium
Based on 1 publication(s) in Google Scholar
AMP-PNP (Adenylyl-imidodiphosphate) tetralithium is a non-hydrolyzable ATP analog. AMP-PNP tetralithium binds to ATP binding sites competely but is not hydrolyzed by enzymes, providing stable experimental conditions for studying ATP-dependent processes. AMP-PNP tetralithium can also be used to study enzyme activity, kinase regulation, DNA/RNA metabolism, ion channel function, and protein complex assembly.

Biological Activity
AMP-PNP tetralithium (100 nM-3.3 mM) competitively elutes BtuCD(EQNC)-F from ATP-agarose beads, inhibiting the ATPase activity of both wild-type and mutant BtuCD-F[1].
AMP-PNP tetralithium (1.9-2 mM, 0-15 min) fails to inhibit the ATP-dependent scanning process of the 5' leader sequence of eukaryotic mRNA[2].
AMP-PNP tetralithium (1 μM-1 mM) concentration-dependently blocked the single ATP-sensitive potassium channels (KATP channels) in the skeletal muscles of mice[4].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
