Function
CD32B is a receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin G complexes or aggregates. A low-affinity receptor, CD32B is involved in various effector and regulatory functions, such as the phagocytosis of immune complexes and the regulation of B cell antibody production. Binding of CD32B to this receptor leads to the regulation of cellular activation previously triggered by antigen receptors (BCRs) on B cells, antigen receptors (TCRs) on T cells, or other Fc receptors. The IIB1 isoform does not mediate endocytosis or phagocytosis. The IIB2 isoform does not trigger phagocytosis.

Tissue_specificity:It is the most widely distributed Fcγ receptor. It is expressed on monocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, basophils, eosinophils, Langerhans cells, B cells, platelets, and placental (endothelial cells) . It has not been detected in natural killer cells. -
