Verification Image

Western blot analysis of extracts from Rat liver tissue(lane 2(20μg) , Mouse liver tissue(lane 3(20μg) ,HL-60(lane 4(20μg)and HepG2( lane 5(20μg) using GBE1 Antibody (HY-P88114). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/2000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993，1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004,1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background

Function：Glycogen-branching enzyme participates in the glycogen biosynthetic process along with glycogenin and glycogen synthase. Generates alpha-1,6-glucosidic branches from alpha-1,4-linked glucose chains, to increase solubility of the glycogen polymer (PubMed:26199317, PubMed:8463281, PubMed:8613547)
