  • Experimental Validation Results for RB11 Antibody (YA5794)
    Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from HL60 (lane 1, 20μg), K562 (lane 2, 20μg), HCT116 (lane 3, 20μg), A594 (lane 4, 20μg), using RB11 Antibody (YA5794). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 25°C for 1hour.The primary antibody (1:2000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (GAPDH, HY-P83944, 1:3000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for overnight. AF800-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L(HY-P810687, 1:1000 dilution) and AF680-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L(HY-P89186 , 1:10000 dilution) was then applied for 1 hour at 37°C, protect from light.

    RB11 is a P62491: The small GTPases Rab are key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes. Rabs cycle between an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound form that is able to recruit to membranes different set of downstream effectors directly responsible for vesicle formation, movement, tethering and fusion. The small Rab GTPase RAB11A regulates endocytic recycling. Forms a functional Rab11/RAB11FIP3/dynein complex that regulates the movement of peripheral sorting endosomes (SE) along microtubule tracks toward the microtubule organizing center/centrosome, generating the endosomal recycling compartment (ERC). Acts as a major regulator of membrane delivery during cytokinesis. Together with MYO5B and RAB8A participates in epithelial cell polarization. Together with Rabin8/RAB3IP, RAB8A, the exocyst complex, PARD3, PRKCI, ANXA2, CDC42 and DNMBP promotes transcytosis of PODXL to the apical membrane initiation sites (AMIS), apical surface formation and lumenogenesis. Together with MYO5B participates in CFTR trafficking to the plasma membrane and TF (Transferrin) recycling in nonpolarized cells. Required in a complex with MYO5B and RAB11FIP2 for the transport of NPC1L1 to the plasma membrane.
