Biological Activity
Anticancer agent 220 (compound 14C) displays cytotoxicity in HCT-116 cells with an IC50 of 53.3 µg/mL. Anticancer agent 220 induces DNA fragmentation in HCT-116 cells, down-regulate the expression level of CDK4 as well as the anti-apoptotic gene Bcl-2 and up-regulate the expression of the pro-apoptotic genes P53 and Bax[1].
