pTH (39-84) (human) (3000 nM) slightly stimulates osteoclast-like cell formation when used alone, and reduces Vitamin D-dependent osteoclast-like cell formation by 70% when co-treated with VitD in primary murine bone marrow cultures[1].
pTH (39-84) (human) (1000 nM; 2-16 h) induces perinuclear redistribution of connexin 43 (Cx43) and increases apoptosis without increasing total Cx43 protein levels in PTH1R-knockout murine osteocyte-like OC cells[2].
